Cameroon is part of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC) that has the following countries as its members : Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Central African Republic and Chad. Countries belonging to the CEMAC are acquitted of duties and taxes as defined in the Common Exterior Tariff (TEC), whatever may be the entry point in the CEMAC. Apart from basic documents, the documents required for export from Exporting country is based on the product exporting from Exporting.
The export documents required in Exporting country also depends up on the nature of goods exporting, regular trade policy of Exporting country Government, specific goods exporting from Exporting country (Minerals Products,Arms and ammunition, health products, food products, chemicals etc. In the specific case of Cameroon, the procedure is as follows:

Marketing authorization for mining products

This document is the first which is essential during the export procedure.It is issued to the seller by the Ministry of Mines, Industry and Technological Development.

Expert report (certificate of authenticity)

Also called Test Report this document is issued by the Analyses and Test of the Ministry of Mines, Industry and Technological Development.

Export authorization for mining products

It is this document that allows the buyer to initiate the legal export procedure in force at the time of the transaction. It is ussued by the SUb-Department of Mining Activities of the Ministry of Mines, Industry and Technological Development.

Final Complementary Procedures

These are the other legal procedures that contribute to the success of the export of minerals from Cameroon, these procedures are regulated by the Ministry of Commerce and generally managed by a Customs declarant or a freight forwarder
